Delois Jackson is a graduate of Wayne State University in Detroit with a master’s degree in social work administration.
She retired from a position in Michigan State government as a program specialist.
This is her second publication, the first was Miss Velma’s Journey of a Lifetime, a true story about the life of an African American woman, who was born in 1917 and grew up poor in the hills of Arkansas.
